Ford will take years to go green

I love how they spin this that Ford is doing a great thing and going to be producing electric and hybrid vehicles, in 3 to 4 years. Sure glad they weren’t in charge of tank production in World War Two. My point is, why does it take so long, when in the 1940′s the USA mobilised and retooled factories and got the armaments we needed. Well why are they not taking this situation we are in, i.e., dependent on foreign oil, the biggest priority since our march to defeat fascism? Like Rosie the Riveter said, We can do it. But only if we try, or, if the government makes them. If we wanted to, we could have those factories retooled in months, not years. No vision.
